Hello I own a 1962 CJ6 Bernadao Jeep Willy’s from Brazil and I’m trying to figure out the best power steering kit to buy. Not sure where to buy and which one will fit.

    thanks

We'll need more info...I think the Brazilian Jeeps are different than a US made CJ.
    Pictures please!

    Welcome, Very cool Jeep :)

From the steering column you don't seem to have a "stock" steering setup (as installed in Toledo built jeeps), can you give us pictures of-

    - the steering box & how the column attaches to it
    - a shot of the drivers side of the engine down by the frame
    - from underneath the steering linkage showing how it's connected to the steering box
    - the front frame horns from top & bottom?

With those we'll be better able to advise you with our free advise that you'll be reading on the internet :D

No problem :) When you get it we can dig further but just be aware there really is no such a thing as a "kit" that's a done deal- every jeep is a bit different so every conversion is a bit different & *will* require some thinking, fabrication, welding and perhaps cutting to make the "kit' components work in your particular circumstances.

In the meantime you might want to have a look at some of the previous threads on the subject here, use the search box to look for posts about "saginaw", although there are alternatives to the "classic" saggy swap that may work better for you.

For power steering, I find adding hydraulic assist is easy and very adaptable to any steering setup. Might be a viable option for you if your jeep has a non standard steering system as compared to the domestic jeeps.

What part of Florida do you call home? I live in the Keys, but am up in Palm Beach County on a weekly basis.
If you are anywhere nearby, I could look at what you have to make suggestions regarding steering. I have converted several CJ with my first in 1976, well before the days of the internet.

Interesting that the two "data" plates obviously do not go together. I think the "Jeep" version is an addition. Curious what the actual engine and transmission is. That may have some bearing on a PS pump mount.
