    Easily worth the money.
They appear to be standard Kelsey Hayes 4-1/2” x 16” wheels used from 1945 through 1955.

No way they are 6” wide because all of the 6” wide KH had creased disks.
Besides the amount of sidewall bulge observed with those tires suggests they are 4-1/2 wide.

rim width is measured inside the rim. Usually people measure outside by mistake. Hard to measure with a tire on anyway

Guess I'll have to pass on these since my 70 calls for 16 x 6

I paid a LOT more than that for my wheels. I would jump on them if they work for you.

No the 70 cj absolutely never had 6 x 16”wheels.
The Jeep KH 6 x 16” were only used on post 1962 Willys pickups. Those wheels are specifically intended for use with 7.50 x 16” tires, load range D.

I have a pristine full set of them with SPI epoxy paint that I am actually considering to sell. If and maybe ??? Along with new 6ply mud tires.
I also have a full set of near pristine wheels that are correct for a 1970 cj. Those would be the Kelsey Hayes 8” x 15” wheel option.
These even still have the original stickers on them.

I’m currently working over my wheel and tire collection deciding what to use.
    Just today I mounted a full set of BFG 7.5O x 16 KM3’s on a set of KH heavy duty 5” x 16” wheels.
Maybe I’ll take a pic tomorrow when the suns out.
Those certainly will be keepers for my next build.
I am still looking for a few more of the KH 5 x 16” wheels.
If I find some then I will sell the 6” or the 8” wides.

The FSM shows my 70 should have 15 x 6. Glad I didn't get those. Thanks Ken

    Right 15 x 6” were standard in 1970.
They will have a creased disk and the disk is welded to the rim, not rivotted.

If you decide to part with those wheels, I'd be interested...

My '58 has the 16x4 KH with the rivets and has the crease and I know they are original.

Those would be 4-1/2” wide not 4” wide.
Yes creased disks begin use somewhere just after 1955.
But as you say before 1958.
There will certainly be a few overlapping examples during this change.
FWIW welded disks begin in 1963.
