L-Head identification

Ok, I checked it out again. I also took more pictures and put them on my Webshots page. The water pump boss definately says "3543202". I took a few pictures of it but they're hard to make out.

I was mistaken about the dash plate. It is one large plate that is divided into three different sections

I took a wire brush and scrubbed as much sludge off of the block on the passenger side as I could but I didn't find anything. Could someone be more specific or show me a picture of where the casting would be? Same thing with the head. I couldn't find anything other than the stuff on the top.

I put a picture of the heater on Webshots. Is this original?

You need to clean off the engine. Then all the casting numbers come out.
