I’d opt for the master kit as well while you’re in there that far.

Try these 66-77 Ford Bronco Parts & Accessories - Toms Bronco Parts SEARCH for power lok dana 44.

I purchased the power lok for my 1971 cj5 with offset Dana 44. It works great. $389.

No, a Detroit Tuetrac is a helical-gear style limited slip, where a Trac-lok uses small friction discs to do the work.

Meh... they have their place. They’re fine for street and dirt road use.

Yep, they have worked fine in hundreds of thousands of V8 Mustangs for over 30 years now.

I have had nothing but good luck with trac lok. I had one in a tj stock that hooked up awesome. I had a lunch box locker in the front and it worked great.

A buddy of mine had a WJ with stock trac lok front and rear and that thing just worked. It was a beater with rubicon take off tires and he made it up both hells gate and the escalator which speaks for the trac lok.

Not all trac-lok’s are the same. It depends on how “tight” they are set up originally and of course they only lighten up as they wear. The factory one in my ‘02 F350 Super Duty (bought new) was set up extremely loose from the factory and it was pretty much worthless after about 5k miles; wouldn’t even spin both rear tires in the snow. The other vehicles I’ve driven with them, mostly factory Ford vehicles, left me with a big “meh” as far as their performance. There might be be some decent ones, but I haven’t been that lucky.

I have a very low mileage take out Trac-lock 30 spline. It was given to me as part payment for regearing a D44 with a Detriot Locker a few years ago. I need to check if its 3 Series or 4 Series, if your interested. It will be under $100 depending on Series.

I worked for Tom's dad Rusty for years in his 4X4 shop. They were a combined shop at the time. Great folks there.
Also a good source for D20 t case parts, NP435 transmissions, and D30/44 axle components. They have a wide selection of Ford 3.03 transmission parts as well, which should cross over to the T150 crowd.
FYI, the early Bronco heater box is an excellent replacement for ECJ's stock units.

purchased the true-trac and master rebuild kit this morning.

was leaning towards the manual ox locker, but lets be real. in my neck of the woods, it is straight up not needed. (truthfully, neither is the true-trac)

id like to meet up with the ECJ group, either on the rubi trip or the Colorado trip this year. its either that or Moab, all alone.

so ill have a dana 30, saginaw swap, and some LSD in the back. hmmm....LSD...

crap, i better get my butt to work!
