Snowshoe lives up to its name! The v6 with stock gearing is perfect for the tracks. I do have a slight problem, the body starts to bounce around and makes driving rather interesting.... Guess it might be time to fix the floors.

I mounted up the 8274 Warn today and wired that up. I put switches on the dash too for the winch.

    That's real nice.

I want to know how hard it is to get stuck.

More importantly, what will pull it out?

I was out in the 18" of snow we just got and it didn't even feel like the snow was there. The only way I can see it getting stuck is if there is only a couple inches of snow on glare ice and the snow just slides away.

The winch will pull it out.

I was digging through my parts bin and found this JEEP grille badge.

And then I dug out our vintage Alaskan bobsled that my grandparents friends brought back in the 60s. I remember riding on the back of it as a kid while my dad towed it with his snowmobile. My sister would ride inside it along with a cooler. We would go in the woods and cook hotdogs over an open fire. I would like to fix it up and use it more now.

A couple months ago, I picked up this hacked up tux park. The PO had put an sbc in and a custom 3" body lift. Luckily the tub was in decent shape. Only real fixing I have to do is the fire wall.

Pulled the tub off and threw it on the rotisserie so I can start making the repairs.

Its too bad the frame is all hacked up with a hatchet. It is super clean and has no rust! The other bonus is the 4.27 axles and rancho lift springs. The axles will be going in snowshoe and I'll save the springs as spares.

And I also have a spare v6 firewall, so that will be my donor to fix the tub.

Finally had some time to myself and repair the firewall. I still have to clean up the welds and paint it. Next is to remove the 1/8" plate floors and fix some hat channel.

Last weekend a traded an arb air locker that needed new seals for this D44 with a powerlock and 4.88 gears. I also have enough parts to build a D30 that I can regear to 4.88. I might not even put a T18 in this jeep now.

I also have a set of 11" brakes to put on this jeep that I took off Ted.

The hinges were missing on the parts jeep when I got it.
