Transfercase nut size

    I need some help, I need to purchase a Nut for the front output shaft on the transfer case as Mine has spun off, I have a v6 and warn overdrive, I think i have the 18, let me know if you need any further infotmation, thanks guys...

    I have noticed two different threads. The shaft should be 3/4" with 16 tpi, most guys use the Nyloc type. But earlier shafts had finer threads if it has a cotter pin hole drilled in the shaft, it will take a castelated nut and I think its 20 tpi.
    Crown makes both nuts and I got mine from Rigid Steel. 4wd hardware has them both too.

    thanks, mine does not have the kotter key hole so im assuming it is the first one you mentioned, thanks for the input.....
