A little metal ruler may be close enough. 0.593" is almost exactly 19/32" so if it's obviously bigger than 5/8" it's been bored out. Looks bored out.

Got that part good enough so far. How long had this T-14 been running with the old pilot bushing that was way too big. Not good on the tranny.

Well, this came out of the different rig so I have no idea. I have a different T14 and I don't recall what it's pilot bushing look like.

These bearings are a sintered material called oilite. Oilite - Wikipedia They used to be all-bronze but they can be an iron alloy of some kind today. They are porous and are supposed to come from the factory already impregnated with oil. I expect they immerse them in oil and apply a vacuum to boil out all the air (indeed this is correct, after reading the Wiki page). Some (all?) I've seen have been backed up by a piece of felt in the back of the bushing pocket that's soaked with oil. You could dunk the bushing in oil before you install, or add a little extra oil. I suspect any oil you apply to the bearing won't matter much over the long run. Good advice not to put anything in there that could end up on the clutch disk.
