Does anyone know where i can buy repro seat frames for a CJ3b? I always find them for the -2a but not the high hood. I wouldnt mind resurrecting some originals, but they seem to be a little hard to come by. Thanks in advance for any input.

How different are they? I think they may be the same, if I remember. Don't quote me on that.

I havent been around for awhile cuz i have moved from Pa to Va. Got a job fixin airplanes now. I dont know how different the seats are 'twixt a -2a and a -3b, i was kinda hopin someone could tell me. I wouldnt mind modifying -2a frames just a little if thats what is necessary.

The way I understand it, in the 3A they shortened the rear wheelhouse & lengthened the seatframe to increase driver room. I was just comparing my 2A & 3B today. The 3B definitly has more length between the front of the cushion and the downward curve over the front of the gas tank. I have heard that 3A seatframes will work in the 3B. BW

    Steffy,

Still needing seat frames? Try Beachwood. Here's one version, not sure which you need. My other photo is too big.
