Anybody ever use rear dj5 leaf springs they came from the factory spring over in the rear. From what I have found the rears are 2 1/2 inches wide and about 44 inches long and almost flat. My m38 is spring over axle with old 1 inch rancho lift Springs looking at trying to find a longer wider spring that will hold up better than stock yj springs that tend to bend fairly easily and still keep a fairly low or as much as possible being spring over.

Where you going to get them? Do you have a source? They can be hard to come by unless you have them custom made.

They dont have much flex in a DJ. Actually one of the reasons why a DJ frame works so well for a driver. The "Jeep lean" is greatly reduced with the outboard springs on a DJ frame.

That's a good point but I'm thinking since my m38 isn't out boarded that they might work.
