Ford T 18 behind a small block Chevy, 10 1/2" clutch. Bought a late Mustang disc but they are thicker than a Chevy disc and the diaphram fingers were going to hit the disc when it was released. Is there a 10 1/2" Ford disc from the 60s or 70s that will work in a Chevy pressure plate?

I assume what your really saying is the fingers were going to hit the clutch hub when the fingers are fully depressed by the throw out bearing?............Obviously you need the Ford disc to get the right size spline.......and hopefully you have also gotten the right sized pilot bushing installed in the crank.............and although I know nothing about a late Mustang disc I would be looking at a Ford truck disc around the 1970's which is 10.5".............or call Advanced Adapters or Novak as they have played with these questions many time before.

Yeah that's basically what I have.
I use old Schiefer brand driven disks of that same same size between the Dauntless and my T18's.
The disks are the correct thickness.
They are a common street disk and not intended for competition use.
