Does anyone with a Kayline soft top on a cj5 have a picture and/or could give me some dimensions for the horizontal rods that run from the windshield to the front bow? I bought a top from another member and need to fab some rods for it.
    Thanks
    Joe

Do you have some photos of what you have or a model number? I don't have a Kayline top but did find installation instructions at this link. The instructions look a little different than a Bestop.

Here's a picture of a Kayline top on the Renegade.
    Top purchased in 1987.
    What measurement do you need?

I believe the parts he's looking for are item 20 and 21.

That's right - thanks Jason. Particularly the horizontal rod (#21). From the picture above and what I've been reading it drops down from the windshield (s curve) then straight back to the bow? The washer is supposed to be on the bottom on the inside? What I don't know is how far it drops down or the overall length, which will dictate the position of the front bow. Once I've got that one close to correct the vertical rod (#20) should be easy.
Thanks Tommy - I appreciate it

It's 31 inches from the windshield frame to the center of the top bow (measured from the hole in the windshield).
The vertical rod for the door opening is 26 inches long.
There is a fancy bend where the rod meets the windshield in order to meet the existing hole.
    Pictures attached.
    You'll probably want more measurements.
PM for more info. We can discuss in detail.
