    Thanks,

Thanks but I'm trying to find something at a local flaps rather than pay shipping from Walck's. Anyone got the Trico p/n?

Do you need the whole blade or will an insert work? I've cut down inserts in the past to the right length and it worked well.

I need the whole thing. I thought I had some around but they've disappeared someplace over the years.

Do those have the goofy curved end on the arm like the electric ones do?
I got mine at NAPA, #600116

    This is the arm style-

600116 seems to be a Trico 11" blade, that's 2" longer than what I need.

The closest I can find for Trico is p/n 33-101, thats a 10" blade. This seems to be what Walcks sells.

    Anco makes a 9", p/n 20-09, but I can't find a FLAPS locally that carries them :(

Howard, my wipe arms look just like that. I measured my blades and they are indeed 11", so they wouldn't work on yours (mine is the later style windshield with the rounded top, & the blades go almost to the top of the glass)

Years ago I used 9" blades for early VW but that was when we had a foreign car parts house.

OK, I found a local Mom & Pop FLAPS that carries Anco, I ordered the 20-09s & they'll be in tomorrow. :)

Yes, the VW bugs use 9", I have a couple on Putt but they're held on with a set screw, they won't fit the Trico wiper arms.

I had the same issue awhile back. I ended up purchasing one from the classified that was about 1" too big - I am guessing 10" It had a bad spring. I got another one from Auto Zone that was too long - maybe the 11" I took the 10" and used the spring from the 11" If you stare you can tell one is longer than the other.

FYI the Anco 20-09s do not fit my style wiper arm (pictured above) :(

Next stop is the 10" Tricos, maybe I can trim them down.

What about the passenger side manual wiper blades? Can new blades be bought or do I need to find a refill?

Time to update the wiper saga.

I ordered a set of trico 33-101 10" blades but they also use the Anco pin style attachment. Some british suppliers do list Trico "P1000" 9" straight blade 'wrist' style blades for a number of 60's era vehicles but they don't seem to exist outside the UK.

I ended up getting a set of Anco "C9" adapters off of ebay to adapt the 20-09 blades to a wrist style arm-

I did have to do a little tweaking to the adapters , the wiper locks couldn't quite get a grip on the adapter pins & were a bit too easy to get off. :( A little filing on the adapter fixed that up. :)

For anyone looking for a hand wiper/blade the brits also have these-

Good to know. I love a hand wiper in heavy snow.
As i posted before they are also available (in the USA) from Ford Model T catalogs like Mac's.

One more note- a little sleuthing has turned up a 9" flex blade for "wrist" type arms- P/N 164-980 available from brit car suppliers such as MOS Motors.
