Back up lights

    The back up switch needs to be replaced on my 74 CJ5. The connector is missing. Does anybody know where to get a new connector or can I use one of the newer switches with the screw on connectors

    I cut my connector off when I got my replacement switch because the new switch has nuts and washers instead of those mushroom looking studs

    The connecter is essentially the same as a Delco 2-wire alternator connector, or at least that fits mine. I found one with the grooves in it so it slips on, but theres no reason you couldn't just cut those yourself with a grinder in about 5 seconds if the plug you have doesn't have those (they usually don't and I don't reclal where I bought mine from, although it was probably one of my "usual suspects": rock auto, amazon, speedway, summit, or morris jeep.)
