I checked the service manual and inspected the tank on the 6 and I dont see a drain. Bummer.

Removing and cleaning the tank would probably be best but I hope I dont have to go there.

All I can think of is an electric pump hooked up in the engine compartment.

    Any sugestions?

I still have rubber fuel lines from the PO that I need to replace. I just cut the line and drained it into a bucket.

Siphon. Buy a 10' length of 5/16" or 3/8" fuel hose and put it down the filler. You should also be able to siphon using the existing fuel plumbing, into a bucket on the floor.

Be careful with fuel around electric motors. A kid down the street tried to siphon gas out of his tank using a shop vac. The motor on the vac ignited the fuel vapors which resulted in a very nasty fire.

Yep. Our FD was called to a truck fire where a cordless drill ignited gasoline vapors from a tank being drained.

I drained the tank with an electric fuel pump and blew out the fuel line. I replaced the rubber line and fuel filter and put in 5 gal and a can of Seafoam.
Pulled the plugs and squirted it ATF and let that sit a while. Installed a new battery, checked all the fluids and turned it over. Replace the plugs and fired it up. It throttles up and holds an RPM but will not idle.
Next I tore the front end down and changed the ball joints. It had a deth wobble around 40 and the pipes were to loud is why I stopped driving it.
Now I just need to put some quiet turbo mufflers on it and see if the Seafoam will help the carb or I am going to have to rebuild the Holley 4010.

Those are way cool. No more gasoline-breath.
Mine gets too rigid in cold weather though, needs some newer or softer tubing

I don't think you can get around that with clear vinyl or tygon tubing. The premium replacement would be translucent silicon rubber tubing - sold for lab work. Guessing it would be about $20/lin ft. Check McMaster-Carr...
