Since most came with non-power brakes and there is a better chance someone retrofitted something else, can you post up a pic so we can see what you have going on?

Looks like a pretty standard dual 8 inch booster and a standard dual chamber MC............can't see behind the booster to see if there is a linkage adapter between it and the firewall......Most times your going to have more issues with replacements with the length of the booster in respect to keeping your lines in the same location and also the line sizes that come off the MC that match your existing line sizes........That stuff is not that expensive at your local AZ or Napa........might want to take that stuff down there so you can match it up.

Power brakes were a factory option starting in 1972. Both my 1973 CJ-5 and my 1975 CJ-6 that I bought new had power brakes.

I doubt you will find a source for the vacuum power booster though. Direct replacements have been NLA for years. If the booster is broken, I suggest you send it to one of the specialty shops that rebuilds power boosters. There are several of these that mostly cater to classic car owners.

    https://www.google.com/#q=power+brake+booster+rebuilder - take your pick.

IMO - don't mess around with adapting a different booster. You have a core, so have it rebuilt. It's done all the time for old cars.

The master cylinder should be available, or again, one of the brake specialty places can refurbish it for you. RockAuto shows maybe 10 different choices, and does not specify manual or power cylinder http://www.rockauto.com/ - Let me look up the Jeep PN for you tonight, and you can cross to that. I'd suggest a new cylinder of a brand name, like Wagner, Raybestos, ACDelco or Bendix, if you have a choice.

Kinda neat to have pictures of the factory power brake setup. If you could take some shots of how the booster connects to the firewall, and the pedal pushrod under the dash, that would be very interesting.

So is this a yellow-lime-green Renegade? Woohoo! Nice Jeep.

Ok, all '74 & '75 model 80s (CJs) use the same master cylinder, power or not. The Jeep PN is 8124845.

Looks just the same as the booster that i put on my '69 Commando, it came off a junkyard Jeep.
The internals are the same as an early Mustang booster. I had it rebuilt at a shop in Denver, about $100.
Yes, the origional master cylinder fit in both configurations.
I was smart enough to get the brake lines off of the donor Jeep to match up to the relocated master.
