Hello all, hope everyone is enjoying the weather and weekend.

Once again I'm having to reach out and tap into the knowledge and know how of this forum. This time it's about my steering linkage.
I've already installed one side to the bellcrank but wanted to verify it was done correctly before connecting the other side to the Ross pitman arm.
So my steering connecting rod is of the ball and socket type and it does matter in which order the spring and ball seat are placed. So this is how I installed mine:

    And this is connected to the bellcrank, not the pitman arm;
    Ball seat
    Bellcrank
    Ball seat
    Spring
    Spring plug
    Adjusting plug
    Cotter pin

    Is this correct?
I thought Walcks might have a you tube video to look at but could not find one on this.
    Thank you

I looked at those links, didn't explain what I was looking for, but they were still very informative.
and yes, I was talking about the drag link when I was referring to the steering connecting rod.

sorry, I must of grabbed the wrong set of videos or something this morning.

I took a look at Factory Service manual
on the bell crank side you have:
    spring plug
    ball seat spring
    ball seat
    Large plug
    cotter pin

on steering arm side (ross box)
    ball seat
    ball seat spring
    spring plug
    adjustment plug
    cotter pin

Hopefully this help, when I did this I just took the old one apart and put it together in same order.

Yes I did that, took pictures when taking the old one apart, but just didn't look right in the manual. Needed some clarification. Thanks

Is the inside of the drag link on the bellcrank side deeper than the other side?

I must have re-read and re-inserted the parts in mine a dozen times looking at that manual. Mine is back together so can't confirm depth is different but I think it might be as the parts go in in a different order. Make sure you get it in the right direction too.
