    Early CJ 5 (1955-1971) with F-134.
Distance from outside the large bumper hole to the end of the crankshaft ?

I think Ken means the hand crank hole in the front bumper. Not surprisingly, in-line with the F134 crankshaft center.

Oh, THAT hole! I would go out and measure mine, but my tape measures have all decided to hide until the next time I don't want one. At least three feet, and maybe a half.

    25-9/16" seems about right.
My 3B is right at 23" distance..
I'm just trying to figure the difference between a CJ-5 PTO winch drive shaft and a 3B PTO winch drive shaft.
Looks like it theres going to be PTO drive shaft lenght difference of 2-9/16".

Pardon me, but wouldn't that depend on which transmission with PTO you have behind your F-Head 4? Or do you run the PTO off of the crank nut on yours?

Yes that's absolutely true although it's irrelevant to my specific request.
The OAL of the transmission and any adapters will also effect the required P.T.O. shaft length.
And in my case the Warn O.D. and the Warn O.D. adapter will also effect the required P.T.O. shaft length.

I only need to know the standard front end difference between the 80" and the 81" frames.
I don't need to know the standard rear end difference between the 80" and the 81" frames.

That 2-9/16" difference only reflects the standard front end difference between the flat fender and the CJ-5/6.
There exists a frame difference mainly because the CJ-5 has longer springs than the flat fender CJ's.
The length of the CJ-5 frame between the rear springs is also longer than the rear of a flat fender CJ.
Overall the CJ-5 frame is roughly 6" longer than a flat fender CJ's because of it's longer front and rear springs.

    Got that ?

I see, said the blind man.

Yup makes sense and if you still need it I will hunt up another measuring stick and let you know.
