Great news! I spoke with Bestop on Monday and they said this would be at SEMA. I just bought a red Tuxedo Park Mark IV on Sat. and it needs a white top. Maybe I should buy 2 in case I buy another Jeep.

The link has pictures from SEMA ;)

Honestly I would assess whether the current top can be repaired first. Even thread bare my black Kayline top was better than my Bestop Tiger Top.

Unfortunately the Tux came without a top. The PO had sold it. Thought about having one custom made or finding an old one and having it rebuilt.

The article says they are Bestop Supertops.
I have one on my CJ and I love it! I've never had a Kayline, we always had Whitco tops (made in Colorado Springs)
and the Supertop is head & shoulders better than those.

    Indeed they are Supertops.

    jpflat2a what's that noise?

How sad they are the only game in town anymore.
Their tops were terrible and in last place compared to Kayline and Whitco.....
I guess they get to have the last laugh.
    I would never buy one.

If I still had my CJ5 I'd buy a white top. I've owned 3 Supertops, and they are great.

I want a white bikini for the '63 Tux. I just went to the Bestop site and sent them a request to make some.

Any more word on the white tops? I am pretty intrigued by the possibility…

Anyone know who is selling the tops or when?

    nickmil In mothballs.

The Tigertops and Supertops are worlds apart in fit and finish. Hence the higher cost of the Supertops.

Does anyone know who is the best dealer to purchase through price wise? Bestop will not give me a price over the phone.

Yup, Bestop doesn't sell tops to the public, only to dealers.

I've never seen much if any price variation. I'd just go with 4Wheelparts, I've had great customer service there and I drive by two at work.
