    Yet another spin-off.
I picked up a Yj mc/booster/prop valve. Right now I have 11" drums all the way around. What combination of MC and prop valve should I use. Will the original prop valve with the new MC work?
What happens when I swap in discs in the front? Should I then go to the Yj prop valve? Thanks

I just bought a 89 YJ master cylinder/booster/prop valve for my 1973 CJ. I am gathering the rest of the stuff for the install so I'll be checking this thread as I go forward. What I've been reading on the net you can use either prop valve if you have drums all around - not sure about if you are adding discs.
My question is - if brake tubing has to be chnged, is it OK to mix tube sizes or should you keep it all the same? My CJ has 1/4 lines I believe.

I havent read anything about changing lines, other than to accomodate the fittings on the engine side of the yj mc rather than the fender side fittings of the cj mc. I believe my lines are1/4", as well. I'll link to the info I have tonight.

The hose to intake on my junk yard pull was cut.......Is there a one-way pressure valve off from the intake, or just the one in the grommet of the booster?? Thanks
