I have been meaning to ask this question for awhile and I am just remembering. I re-installed my hood a month or so ago and it seems that ones side of the vehicle is higher than the other. What I mean is I have 3 or 4 washers underneath the left side hood latch to raise it up to reach the hood. Is there a more astetic way of bringing the hood down or fender up to my latch or is it just a jeep thing???

First; Semper Fi from a fellow Marine.

Is the front end mounted straight? If ine fender is higher or lower then the other, you would easily be able to tell by looking at the grill. The frill will be noticeably crooked. If it is, you should be able to adjust both fenders by loosening the bolts holding it to the tupb. You'll have to do both sides though in order to get it straight.

If the grill is on straight and lines up with both fenders, I'm at a loss to know what that is. You might have a bent hood or maybe the jeep has been in a wreck or something that hurt the tub. Don't know. Ifyou have some pics of it, I'm sure that the guys here can tell you exactly what you need to do.

Good luck and let us all know how it goes.

Mine was kinda like that. I had to raise my driver fender up as high as I could by loosening the bolts at the tub and at the grille. Then I lifted the fender as high as I could, then tightened it all back down.

As stated you might have to raise the fender, but start with making sure the hood edge lines up with the cowl all the way across.
