tuxedo park mark iv hood badges.....how do they attatch?

    i opened them up because im gonna put them back on for the butler show. (bantam heritage show)... I hadnt bothered because the guy i bought the jeep off of said that they need re chromed. well, i opened them up and they are beautiful!!!! but how do thy stay on? instead of threads...they just have nubs!

    there are little one way clips for them its really just a piece of square flat spring steel with two fingers to clip the nub so it goes on one way and doesnt come off unless you work at it with a pick. You can probrobly get them from most any auto parts store. its a good idea to put a bit of felt or rubber padding behind to keep them from rattling and loostening up. like this.

    I went to local flaps and asked them, on the v6 emblems I had a little nut that was sheet metal (similar design to post above just in shape of nut). I just used a different size for the tux emblems. However, I did have loosening problems and didn't know about the trick jeep2003 posted.

    i think the v6 emblems usually had a bit of puddy on the nuts and maybe even a thin foam backing on the emblem. i think the commando ones just use double sided tape and no pins
