F134 Overhaul (rebuild)

My first time posting a thread so bear with me
So Last november i got my grandpa's old 57 cj-5 out of the barn. The jeep hasn't ran since about 85 and has been sitting there since then. The engine was seized up and I went threw a starter trying to get it to turn over .
So the fun began.

She was a dirty girl



After a lot of scraping,wire brushing,gas and degreaser I tore her down



So i finally found what the culprit was number #1 and #2 pistons were froze up after a lot of pounding and some panther **** I finally got them out. The cylinder walls seemed to still be in pretty good shape and there wasn't much if and ridge at the top if any. So i just honed all 4 cylinders and they came out great.The the engine has previously been bored .010 over. Then I installed new crank bearings,connecting rod bearings and new rings. Also rebuilt the carb.

Now she's purring like new born kitten
