I plan on rebuilding this 1967 cj5.I have taken the tub off the frame and gutted it.It has a husky over drive and a braden pto driven winch. This jeep has very little rust!It also has a factory hardtop.

Great looking project. Sounds like you and your son are a good team so I'm sure it will come out looking fine. Not sure if you plan to use the metal top or not, but here's some info on old metal Jeep tops if you're interested.

And greetings to Flagstaff, lived there from '77 - 80. Good to see the Peaks in your avatar.

I plan on restoring the top and using it in the winter, it can get pretty cold here in Flagstaff sometimes. I love the custom paint job on the top by the previous owner. Looks like it had windows in the back on the sides at one time and I would like to put them back, where would I find window rubber and parts for the top. BTW did you notice my avatar pic is when the peaks were on fire..............scary stuff!![IMG]

Local auto glass and body shops may be your best option for rubber, glass, etc. Cold in Flagstaff? I remember one -35 morning when I couldn't drive my standard trans car because the gear lube froze up. Fire? Oh, I thought it was just a snowy sunset picture.
