If you buy a new top, it will come with all the hardware

If you have a top but you are missing the bows, try making your own out of electrical conduit. I recently made bows for my 1967 CJ5 with a Bestop Dualmatic top. If you have a newer Bestop without bows, you can call Bestop and buy the parts you need.

That sounds like a plan what are the dimensions of the roof bows? Because making them out of electrical conduit sounds alot better than paying $500.00.

I would like to put a tiger top on it for the winter. But right now I would just like to put a bikini top on it.

Electric conduit worked fine for my bikini. I just bent to fit, no dimensions, but it seemed to work best angled to the rear slightly.

I don't use any bowa with my bikini top on my 58..... Am I making a mistake?
Anyway, mine came with a Bestop and doors that were trashed, I chucked the top but saved the two bows that hold up the top and the mounts that they bolt to. They are in really good shape and have the matching color material (black) on them that I guess is designed to prevent rubbing.
They are two pieces each so they would ship...if you're interested in just the bows and hardware we could prob work out a deal mwinkler@sas.rutgers.edu or PM...unless I am supposed to be using one with my bikini????? Every picture I googled shows no bows with the bikini....anyone got shots of a bikini using an extra bow?

Most Bikini tips are designed to go over a rollbar. If you don't have one no reason a top bow couldn't be used.
