Toe out after lift install... Please help!!!

    herm has the long tie rod for around 60 bucks then you can reuse the longer rod from your existing setup and use it as the drag link. you can also reuse the tierod ends and put the end with the hole in it on the passenger side knuckle.

    Another thought. When I installed mine there was very little clearance between the tie rod and leaf springs. My caster was somewhere between 0 and -1 so I needed a 6 degree shim anyway. After I installed the shim there was plenty of clearance. Do NOT use aluminum shims. You can get custom ones from members here if you want the exact degree of correction.

    ^ Thank you all for all your help and thank you verry much for the links. I ended up getting it aligned by Midas...if I change the tie rods would I have to get another alignment?

    i havnt tryed it myself but i have read about alot of guys doing their own alignments with a tape measure.

    I used a tape measure and an adjustable paint pole. Set the width I needed for the toe in and adjusted the tie rod until the ends touched the tires.
