Anyone have an exploded diagram of this? I need to know which side the spring goes in and where the felt and flat washers go. Any tips on orientation so I can get her in there the right way the first time would be helpful too! This is for an F134/T90 stock setup.

Ok, thinking this through in my head, I've got two felt pads, three metal disks, one spring, and the z tube with one hole closer to the end than the other. Guessing cotter pins in the tube, then metal disk, then spring in the long end and another metal disk and felt (soaked with grease?). Other end is just disk and then felt. Is the spring the frame side or the t-case side?

I found some diagrams in old posts. Usually the Jeep specialty sellers have these diagrams online, so you can buy the parts. Use google to search for "Jeep clutch bellcrank" - I don't think I've ever heard it called a Z-tube in Jeep circles. Descriptive, but not the right jargon.

The TSM would also have a picture, but I don't have a link to an early TSM.

I've found some generic pictures, but none with the exploded bellcrank. I'll try searching for those terms. Bought it from midwest military who up until this point has been extremely helpful. Now he wants to sell me a $50 parts manual to see the diagram.

Willys Motors refers to it under:
    GROUP 11.02 CLUTCH CONTROL PARTS
    As:
    "Lever and Tube Assembly"

The stack of metal spacers/washers inside the tube may vary...the goal is to make sure the tube levers are in a straight line with the linkage(s) they are pulling on. If it were me, I would thread the old linkage rod and install the threaded clevis ends; very strong and a straight pull, other than the 90* bends on the factory rod.
It's probably easier to install the transfer case end of tube first, then install the frame end, sliding the pivot and bracket along the frame rail to the correct position.
