I need a full cover (not just cab) for my '75 CJ-5. Unfortunately it lives outside right now and likely will for the next 5 years at least. I don't want to ruin my already abused Bestop or allow the elements to do a whole lot of damage to the vehicle in general.

Does anyone have any experience please w/ any of the full covers from Quadratec, 4wd, car-covers.com, Rugged Ridge, etc.?

    p.s. I'll also need one for my '47 CJ-2a.

The full covers for the 76+ have the same cab size but about 3-4 inches longer on the nose (just slightly baggy there) depending on how critical you are.

i have a good cover but i am not sure what brand it is. I will try to remember to look when i get home. It was not cheap at about $250 but is very heavy duty.

a covered metal item (your jeep) outside in the elements needs to breathe or the covered item will rust better off with a garage in a box type shelter... ive seen cars that sat for a little while under a cover blister the paint or discolor the paint or just peel it off when the cover comes off. my 57 chevy truck lives outside uncovered....

I got one from Here: http://www.surplusjeep.com/topscush.htm it has been OK, but we have real high winds (60mph plus for days at times) and 3 years is about the end of it this year. Breaths good, but would like to find something stonger.

As long as it's not going to blow off on a "breezy" day. Yes, I'm absolutely picking up one that breathes. it's my $650 Bestop and the fact that it does collect a bit of water in the front floor pans, where the front feet of the roll cage bolt so it's a fantastic place for rust to form and eat through that I want to cover it. For my '47 its paint is already in sad shape and the floor pans are well on their way out.

I'd like to know what brand people are using w/ success because I'm finding them w/ 3-4 reviews each at around $65 to a couple hundred bucks. I'll spend the money for a good one but don't want to blow $500 on two covers when $120 worth would do just as well.
