My local source thought he had one but it appears it is not so. Are these available from any vendors, or will I have to locate one from a private seller?

    Thanks,

Watch Ebay and the classified section of sites like this one, they pop up from time to time.

Early Scouts used a 27 rear axle with a power lok. That what mine came out of.

$75? I’d jump on that. They go for more than twice that on Ebay.

try herm the overdrive guy. i believe he sells new parts for them and may have a complete quality power lock for you. check his web site hermtheoverdiveguy.com, i have found that it is best to call him. so far everything i have bought from him is top of the line and not over priced, not that you might find a better deal somewhere else.

You're going to have a hard time beating $75. Unless you find an entire axle cheap. Herm carries them and has most parts. Side gears and spiders are problematic. He carries the clutch discs, the cross-shafts and usually has carriers.
