An awesome looking CJ6... When I finish my flatfender, I'd like to build something similar.

13308465_10154226854069568_6879039986992232198_o.jpg It's got to earn its keep. The CJ6 pulling the new equipment trailer I built last year. Glad the CJ-6 is over 4000 lb. at this point. With 12 inch trailer brakes, and the little 225 buzzin' along, it does ok, although this is its maximum load. Building an F-600 4x4 now to handle chores like this regularly.

Darn it, I didn't look. Looks like I have only a few pics in my thread. I don' t even know where I can find my originals. I will try and repost what I find.

    That F600 4x4 is a heck of a truck.

It'll wind up doing what I need it to. Just can't be in a hurry with the old 361 gasser. Of course, I'm not in a hurry. lol

Yep that 6 looked to have had some pretty good tongue weight...........

aallison 74 cj6, 76 cj5. Has anyone seen my screwdriver?

Why are all those holes in the frame? They look round like they were drilled, not rust. And FWIW, I'd like to see a build on this truck. You did a great job on the Jeep.

It did, I like to keep a fair load on the tongue, keeps trailers from doing the tail wagging the dog.

The holes in the frame were all factory, I imagine for different options and hangers when the old girl was new. I will post pics. It's getting a low side 12 foot dump bed, and modern tubeless wheels and tires, but otherwise should remain stock. Picking up the cab from the galvanizer this Friday, I hope. I will post some pics, but where should I put them?
