making my 5 a 6

    I've had Sway this long might as well fix her up and keep her another 20 years .....
    everything I don't need got burnt off with a cutting torch. went well but it was 105* which sucked.

    today I made the boxing templates.I have a old junkm38a1 frame I plan on cutting up for the back half.

    John , just wasn"t going to work for me this year , work has finally picked up and I can"t miss anything.

    ordered my cj7 spring perches today also, I think the transformation should take only a few weeks once the frame is boxed/done.transfering parts and fixing whatever I find thats bad should be fun , cutting my body in half well there is no turning back after that .........
    I can see I have been running for awhile a broken shackle bolt. I like stuff like that .

    well KIND'a/sort'a worked on it today ,
    I pulled up the carpet and padding in the rest of the garage
    I now have a normal boring garage slab ,no more sleeping under the cars for me I quess. it will be much easier/safer to weld , grind and pull stuff around . The 442 will just have to get used to sleeping on concrete .

    You could always just cut patches and put em under the tires of the 442 ;)

    oh my god ,,,,what have I done
    cage is out (that suck is very heavy ), all wiring pulled to rear half,winch off, seats out , rear tank out ,cb and ham out,ready to cut power to engine and pull wires off motor and pull main tank .
    There is still time to go back , I did not cut tub yet .pics coming

    Aaahhh yes, I remember how fast my old Jeep came apart. It made me actually believe I would have it back together in less than a year. :beer:
