The pics really don't do it justice.

And yes, there's cheaper generic ones available for about half the price but, above & beyond being "correct", this thing is literally a "plug in"- installing it will be way easier & faster than trying to breed in a hot rod harness; as some one who has occasionally pays the bill by doing wiring I appreciative that.

p.s.- how do you like they new livingroom hardwood floor?:D

My Dad did kitchens and cabinetry as a side business, so I've seen a few different types of wood.

Very nice. A light floor brightens the room a lot.

My guess the wood floor is for Willys Points ???

I have a deck and some atic work to do for more points :)

That's very nice! If the '57 restoration project ends up needing wiring I'll definitely keep that in mind.

I used his harness; it was great. Just be aware that if you have the stock 4 way flasher (don't know what year you have) or the stock cig lighter, his kit isn't set up for that. I ended up needing several additional connections. If you have a repo washer switch, his won't work either (again, don't know what year you have). He'll make one as its a separate wire setup. Also, when you get to the alternator, his harness has 2 green wires where the original has only one green wire. Took me forever to figure this out. It's just the way he made the harness; both wires go on the same post as per the TSM......just saw you have a '55....nevermind....you might not have those problems. The earlier 5' were more standardized that the '68-71 stuff

I just got the stock harness for a '55-'56, Apart from a few non-stock accessories that I can wire myself that's all I need. He actually did add a wire for a key start solenoid as opposed to using the floor starter with directions just to tape it up if you don't need it. I have heard he'll add circuits into the harness if requested but you better be able to tell him where to add them into the loom.
