Clutch Cross Shaft

    I ordered a kit for my clutch cross shaft. When I pulled it out, it was missing parts (the shaft, not the kit), so I'm not sure of the correct way to assemble it.

    I think it's like this-

    Is this right? And yes, I am going to drill and tap it for grease zerks.

    if your cotter pins are offset like the picture shows, i really dont see any other way it could go together. thinking mine has a grease fitting in it (its a m38a1) may have been a military thing at the time, then again i may be thinking of another vehicle all together (i got 7) :oops: one of them has a grease fitting;)

    I wish I had mine still I would send you it,
    Many of us have changed out the old system so I am sure you can get that shaft from someone here.
    I put in the Advance Adapter chain drive and love it

    I just bought a replacement set for this same thing the other day and that is how I have it set up. I added a grease fitting to my old one which I think I might do again this time around. You can never have too much grease!
