    I had the muffler shop make some heat shields they put on the cherry bombs that really helped, they just grabbed a set of generic shields and a bit of metal. a few tacks here and there and then some short beads and wow cool floorboards.

    ok next question is for the guys that run mufflers like turbos or flowmasters wat off sets are you runnin? offset in/out, center in/off set out, center in/out?

    with the hooker headers I run offset /offset same side to keep it all tighter to the frame rails. when I had headmans I think I was center / offset

    just bought a cj/w 225, headers and 3 chanber flows and it sounds like a rabid VW. wouldn't advise it

    thanks heffleysmill....thats wat i was wondering the most if it would sound funny....iam still tossing around the thrush idea i just dont know and i wont till i get it and slap it on......thanks again!
