hey guys, i have a single stick model 18, and it shifts in and out perfectly, however, my lever/stick/shaft.. whatever you want to call it, comes out of the ball/socket connection as of recently , anyone know of a good way to fix or replace these parts? thanks

next question, the seal for the engagement shaft... is that included in seal/gasket kits? or is there a different p/n for that? or is there not supposed to be fluid getting to that point(seal before that)? mine is definitely leaking from the hole that the shaft is coming through, thanks for anyone that can help

(basically asking if the seal kits are different for twin stick and single stick? all kits i have seen haven't denoted any difference in description)

Wouldn't it depend on which kit you're getting? (Check with Novak or Herm).

    nickmil In mothballs.

Regardless of whether it has a single shifter or twin shifters there are still two shift rails and consequently 2 shift rail seals.
The differences in rebuild kits is primarily how complete they are and the quality of parts supplied in the kits.

thanks guys for the help! if we didnt get 8 inches of snow i'd be tearing it apart tom. night, but i'll just have to pump some more lube into it and do some plowing before i can replace any seals, the women get mad when they can't drive their cars out of the garage/driveway but refuse to take the pickup to town... so i have to keep them happy and plow! (doesnt help that i justified buying the jeep for the plow.. so i have to use it to keep her off my back R) )
