…….funny. Once I get my blown head gasket replaced, and my truck back from the dealer (where it’s been since June 1, 2022, I was thinking about taking my CJ to get tuned and on the Dyno.

it's hard to find a dyno that can even accurately measure 4cyl numbers. My college had one for electric trucks but I never got mine running well enough to book time.

I have had my CJ-2A on a dyno while tuning the weber carb. Running it in 30% OD at the time the rear wheels were traveling 97mph when the engine hit 4300rpm It showed 46.23 HP at 3650 rpm.

I have since learned that there are so many variables in a dyno test its near impossible to compare one to the other unless done by the same dyno on the same day by the same guy. Also that the 60HP the 134L is rated was done with no generator no water pump no fuel pump and straight pipes. SO comparing a chassis dyno to the factory rating is pretty hard to do.

SO I have another way to bench mark my engine.

My jeep will currently do the 1/4 mile in 23.6 sec at 55mph on a 66 degree day at 350ft above sea level. and it gets 17.3mpg at an average speed of 55mph I use an app called Drag Racer to come up with these numbers.

I'd laugh if the jeep got sold as a pile of parts and someone on here actually has it and doesn't know:D
