It's nice to have enough parts to finally start work on the tub. This coming weekend I'm going to try and have the new axles under the jeep and go from there. Tune in next time!

The tub, front grill, and original 225. Although the v6 tossed a cylinder it did not break the block so I will be looking into rebuilding it if possible. Most of the steering will be reused along with the original tailgate. I'm still going back and fourth on the bullnose gate. This truck was originally a half cab, but I'm going to a full cab for a complete seal since the elements really did her in. I never really meant for this to be a complete parts matching restoration. I wanted a family member to live on, thus the reason the tub and etc will be reused since THAT is the truck.

So this past week has been very hectic since I have been moving a ton of vintage jeep parts from my place of employment to my house (life's hard R)). But i did manage to score a nice new front fender along with a complete hard top from Colorado. I just didn't have enough room with my cab top. To prevent the truck from collecting anymore cancer I figured sealing it to the tailgate would aid in doing so. I'll have some more pictures up this afternoon.

So in a stroke of luck I was looking for a set of 37"-40" tall tires for the commando. Since it will be on one tons eventually I have to run something that is proportionate to the running gear. Two days ago I stumbled across a set of 39.5" IROK's with 80% or more tread left for cheap! Needless to say they are in my living room now. The axles are now underneath the frame and I have moved the body into another bay for tin work. Picture updates later today.
