How does the passenger seat bracket mount? From what I can tell, the front legs are in pivots and the back leg just sits on the floor. It seems like that would rattle and bounce around. Is there a latch I don't know about?

  2. No latch. When no one is in the seat cinch the seat belt down on it.

There is a latch on the 69 pass seat bracket.

i stretched my seat frame 2" so i just welded a nut into the floor and made this.

nothing like that latch setup but should work.

isn't there already a hole where the leg meets the floor? if your looking for more of an origanl look u could find a caged nut and
weld it up under the floor. cut a bolt down and drill a hole through it then use a hitch pin to secure it....
this was what i wanted to do but thought it would rattle.

On my 51 there is a hole in the leg to bolt it to the floor. Which i will be doing. The hole looks factory.

My 55 has the same latch but I'm missing the bracket that bolts to the floor. Does anyone know where to get one and/or is willing to part with one? The bracket would look like this one...

Awsome pics. A wingnut on the foot looks like the best option for my setup. Thanks.
