Wuze I have to meet you this summer when the jeep will be ready. I work as faster as I'm able.

Well, here a few pictures of the progress

Here taking out the Perkins engine

this is the flyweel and the bellhousing, all mated there is not much room left...

the tranny, with the new bellhousing, pressclutch and clutch on the mainshaft

This space is for the adaptor plate between the VW bellhousing and the T-90

Now I have a problem, there is not enough room to place the slave cilinder so I must to make a new linkage to actuate the clutch. I'm thinking on not put hidraulic and make a mecanical linkage (easier, faster and cheaper for me).

While I'm doing the adaptor plate and the clutch linkage I'll start to adapt all these things: YJ suspension kit, rear disc brakes and start to take out the original steering box to adapt a new saginaw steering; the new engine has steering pump so probably I'll put a hidraulic box.

After many months stalled my project, today I've been working a bit on it.

Past weekend received a new custom cluth adapted to the new VW flywheel and pressure plate. I Needed to grind a bit the cluth area near to the crankshaft and the side of the crankshaft.

    Also replaced the crankshat seal

As I have adapted a different diameter bellhousing and flywheel I have to make a new plate between the engine and bellhousing. Used a 3mm. sheet metal to make it.

A bit more of work, I got a new bronze cartridge case to mate the crankshaft and mainshaft. With all centered in their final position I have to make a 4,7cm (almost 2") adaptor plate.
