Looks to be complete. Perhaps a 'frame off' resto is in order.

Seems they all look that bad. What's with the doors for the top. I had a top just like that. My doors were made out of aluminum, same windows. :?

You do have a good resto project there. My M38a1 couldn't be done thanks to some PO.

As for the motor. I would think timing was off. (Not familiar with that motor.)

The doors are origional and out of plywood. They need to be restored. I'll check the timing, thanks.

Well I don't know. (If its the same top I had. Looks like it.) The top is stamped steel and aluminum. Made by Steel Stamping Company. IRC (Id tag inside back panel) Why would the doors look home made? :?

Apparently the doors were original and made out of plywood. Talked to other restorers and that's how they were. Passenger side door has a stencil that says "Speed limit 25 city, 35 rural, 45 Autobahn. It's not attached, and I have to fab some hardware. Information on the arctic tops can be found at http://www.engineering.sdstate.edu/~jonesal/jeep.html follow the link. I will try to restore the doors, or at least use them for patterns.
