'73 CJ5 tranny...

    evanjm Yeah, it's got an F-head.

    hey could someone refresh me here,

    i've got a '73 CJ5 with a worn mainshaft in the trans. i can't remember which trans they put in these things. it's got a factory 304. does a T150 sound right? or would it be a T15? it's the factory 3spd. top end bolt pattern has all of them equally spaced except the two bolt holes up front are closer together, which is leading me to think it's a T150?

    T-15. The T-150 wasn't used until 76.

    The T-15 says 1307 or T15 cast in the side of the case. It will also show WG for Warner Gear.
