Carb Question

Would a HOLLEY Model # 2211C / 2-barrel Carb work on an O.F. 225? or would I need an adaptor of some sort it was off of a 78 El Camino ci V8.
or would a rochester 2 bbl work better. Thank you in advance.

 

The good 'ol 2G will always work, but the Holly 2100 with a few mods is a good carb. Yes, you will need an adaptor.

 

for the holly would I need to change the manifold or just an adaptor to go from a 2 to 4 barrell? if so where would I find that at thank you in advance

 

If you have a 4bbl manifold on the 225 probably would be best to replace with a 2 bbl manifold for the 2bbl Holly. If your manifold is the stock 225 one, you just need an adaptor for the correct bolt pattern for the Holly. You can get these from Summit.
