Sitting here at work wishing I was doing something else.....thinking of the hardtop (meyer). I am not looking forward to putting it on for winter but never the less thinking about what I need to do to get it ready.
One thing that is aggrevating in the winter is the dirt/road grim that gets on the back window. This got me thinking.....How hard would it be to install a wiper arm and motor on the back window of the Meyer hardtop. Does anyone have any ideas? What assembly would be a good candidate?

    Any who...just a thought

    An XJ unit should work...

Edit: Might get in the way of the latch mechanism. Didn't some Troopers have a wiper that swung from the top instead of the bottom?

Not a bad idea Lynn. I will look at a buddies XJ.
    Not sure about the Troopers

Most simple way would be use eletric motor sold to replace the vacuume unit wiper conversion.

What about the wiper assembly off of a YJ with a factory hardtop? I think they swing from the top.
