Just wondering while sanding a spot on my 74 jeep. Is there any chance jeep used factory paint that would of had lead in it?

You can probably pick up a lead paint test kit at your hardware store.

I think mid 70's was the end of lead. I know, something else to worry about.

Too old to worry and won't be teething on it.

I probably wont be nawing on my fender or somertin either. But sanding can release lots of dust, I do have a good respirator with filters for lead dust. My biggest concern is contaminating my work shop if the dust settles on everything.

Good think to think about. Lead toxicity can cause serious anemia in adults.
