Locking Hubs

    nickmil In mothballs.

When Warn made a heavy duty version replacement you could definitely feel the weight difference between those and stock factory hubs and the stronger internals. They were better, but I still saw too many customers breaking them. The problem is you can only do so much with the dimensions they have to be manufactured in. I've had Milemarker hubs and was not impressed as they leaked water in through the dial. Brand new right out of the box. I know little about the AVM brand. I guess mercy at what is available.

Maybe a little late on the topic. But there also an upgrade to a internal lock, way stronger than the 5-6 bolts ones...

Is that the setup that Yukon offers you're referring to?

I'm guessing he is talking about internal hubs, like the ones on the mid 70's F150
