I’ve searched old posts but couldn’t find an image that really showed how this is supposed to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated…

here’s what im seeing on mine. It sure doesn’t look right…

Here’s looking forward from rear …

Is it supposed to have that spring?

here’s looking back from TCase. It’s a long spring connected with wire. I’m assuming there’s supposed to be a bracket or something the spring connects to?

The spring in the first picture is not supposed to be there.

There is supposed to be one going toward the rear and attached to the lever pivot as yours is. Instead of wire like on yours they originally had a hard wire or rod with hooks in each end. One end for the spring, the other attached to a bracket I don't see on your Jeep.

Mine is out of the Jeep right now, but maybe someone else will post a picture of how it should be hooked up.

The spring in the first picture should be hooked onto the brake arm.
