Love this build! Also really like the color.
Is the body bolted down? It looks like the rear wheel is forward in the wheel well, or is it optical illusion?

Yes it's bolted in. Looking at the pre-tear-down photos it looks the same to me. Hard to see in this photo.

    Looks beautiful!
Where did the “Willys” logo come from behind the passenger door?… did you add that in?

Yeah, The Willys plate was welded in place by the PO. I don't think Henry Kaiser would mind!

Spent the weekend putting the Jeep back together. Mostly wiring it, wiring pictures aren't very exiting, so here's the Jeep from yesterday at the end of the day, (new taillights). Everything worked fine in the "test" phase of wiring. But after making all runs neat with sheathing etc. the rear passenger blinker isn't working. I think the problem is in that delicate turn signal switch on the steering column. I dread taking that thing apart again. But the blinker work when I wiggle and giggle.

Hope to start it up this coming weekend

If you still have the original Spartan switch, you can take the switch itself apart and clean the contacts. Just don't loose the tiny little springs:

Thanks Fireball, I do have the original, and will be performing surgery on it in the coming days.

Jeep assembly is coming along nicely, very few problems. It's amazing how many details come up, last minute paint touch ups, trips to the hardware store, it's all good though. I'm very happy with my color choice, Avocado mist with black trim, good contrast. I'll have more pictures in the days to come.
