L Head Spring Compressor

    Im rebuilding the L head in my M38. I'm too cheap to buy a real compressor so I made this out of a 1x1 1/2 " steel tube and a clamp with the end cut off. Flawless operation. With stock on hand no cost. Worked Great!

    I like it!

    I have one of the old "C" clamp compressors, but I doubt it works any better than that.
