Fitment Of Fenders, Grill And Hood

    kenb Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult

    A while back here someone alluded to there being a best order or procedure to fitting the grill, hood and fenders. I'm about at that point now in my project. Everything is apart including the hinges being removed from the cowl and hood. Does anyone have tips on the best order or way to go about putting things together?

    nickmil In mothballs.

    I don’t know if it’s the “right” order but I bolt the fenders to the tub, grill to the fenders and frame mount. I leave all bolts just loose enough to make adjustments. I center everything the best I can then I carefully set the hood on and bolt the hinges on loosely. I then adjust as needed. Has worked for me so far.
