Hi guys. Well, with some regret we've decided to sell our 59 CJ. We have so many other things going on and it's just been sitting. A neighbor is interested. If he doesn't take it ill post information here. I do want to take a minute to offer my appreciation for all the help and laughs I've gotten on this forum. I really like the No Politics and Religion thing. In fact, if you'll have me, I'd like to keep posting on general topics if that's ok.
    Anyhoo, thanks again.

  4. it was a good move to make if the jeep was just sitting, but definitely not easy. hopefully it goes to a good home where it will be used.

it can happen to all of us for many reasons.
It is better than let it rust abandonned in a field.
I sometimes imagine selling mine for health reason, it can happen.
The idea is to get a good new master ...

And yes, about content, nice to be in a polite word.
I communicate sometimes on a business forum, and strangely I see members very aggressive for no reason.
That's the bad magic of the Interet.
This forum proves that it is possib!e to exchange staying polite and respectful.

    Update...
It looks like the CJ is sold to a college bound young man named Caleb. He and his father came up and checked
it out and test drove it. Caleb loved it. I went over every issue I knew about it. Don't want any secrets and
he knows what he's getting. I'm going to encourage him to join this forum so if a Caleb from Manton California
pops up, please give him a warm welcome.
And, no doubt disappointing some of you, I ain't going anywhere. Fokker said I could stay...
