I throw that stuff in a box and move it into the heated shop for the winter.

My kids think it's funny to hide the old cans in the burn pile so when I light it a few weeks later I can find them again. I keep a clean pair of tighty whities out there now just in case.

I had a friend growing up who's dad did that.
Missing a few pieces of his fingers because a hot can exploded.

My dad always told me that those were teeth in the spray can. He said that is what the tooth fairy did, took the kids teeth and sold them to the spray can factory.

In the winter I just bring them in the house and let them acclimatize overnight. My garage is fully insulated but unheated so if the doors stay closed it never gets below the low 50s in there so the paint cans will spray but not great. It also really hurts the curing time when they are cold.

Iv got a couple mason jars full of them. They were talking about this on the hamb a bunch of guys collected them. Im way too impatient to warm my cans. But in the winter i store them inside so they are not frozen when i go to use them. I get so many clogged tips I need to be doing something different. Or maybe just because the cans are so old.
